W artykule przedstawiono zalecenia ekspertów dotyczące postępowania diagnostyczno-terapeutycznego u pacjentów z rdzeniowym zanikiem mięśni (ang. spinal muscular atrophy, SMA). Ich autorzy podsumowali dotychczasowy stan wiedzy oraz zaprezentowali najważniejsze zmiany dotyczące diagnostyki SMA, postępowania rehabilitacyjnego i ortopedycznego oraz wsparcia żywieniowego w tej grupie chorych.
Abstract:
The article presents expert recommendations on diagnostic and therapeutic management in patients with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). The authors of the recommendations summarized the current state of knowledge and presented the most important changes regarding SMA diagnostics, rehabilitation and orthopedic procedures and nutritional support.
