Bóle głowy są jedną z częstszych dolegliwości zarówno u dzieci, jak i u młodzieży. Mogą one występować w każdym wieku, mieć różne przyczyny i różnyobraz kliniczny. Diagnostyka bólów głowy powinna być bardzo wnikliwa i często prowadzona wielokierunkowo, bowiem u ich podłoża mogą leżeć poważne przyczyny, np. guz mózgu, malformacje naczyniowe. Autorka przedstawia aktualną międzynarodową klasyfikację bólów głowy, omawia kryteria ich rozpoznawania, znaczenie wywiadu, podaje metody diagnostyki, wskazania do badań neuroobrazowych i elektrofizjologicznych.
Abstract:
Headaches are one of the most common complains either in children or in teenagers. They can appear in every age, they can have different causes and different clinical symptoms. The diagnosis of headaches should be careful and extensive, because very often they are a result of serious processes such as brain tumours or arteriovenous malformations. The author presents current international classification of headaches, discusses the criteria ofthe diagnosis, emphasizes the significance of medical interview, shows the diagnostic methods, as well as the indications to neuroradiological and electrophysiological investigations.
