Jednym z głównym problemów klinicznych u dzieci z nieswoistymi zapaleniami jelit jest niedożywienie. Postępowanie żywieniowe jest istotnym elementem leczenia w zależności od fazy choroby. Ważnym postępowaniem terapeutycznym u dzieci, które nie sąw stanie stosować odpowiedniej diety, pozostaje suplementacja kaloryczna, doustne suplementy diety, żywienie enteralne przez sondę lub gastrostomię, czy też żywienie pozajelitowe.
Abstract:
Malnutrition appears to be the one of the main clinical problems in children with inflammatory bowel disease. Nutritional support as a basic method of treatment is adjusted to the severity of inflammation. Caloric supplementation, oral dietary supplements, enteral feeding via gastrostomy or nasogastric tube, as well as parenteral nutrition, remains an important therapeutic approach for children unable to consume an adequate diet.
