W artykule zaprezentowano kompleksową analizę różnorodnych metod leczenia mózgowego porażenia dziecięcego (MPD), podkreślając rolę
indywidualizacji podejścia terapeutycznego. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na potrzebę wczesnej interwencji, mającej kluczowe znaczenie dla rozwoju
neuroplastyczności mózgu. Opisano szeroki zakres terapii, w tym rehabilitację, farmakoterapię, zastosowanie toksyny botulinowej, selektywną
rizotomię grzbietową oraz terapię pompą baklofenową jako skuteczne metody leczenia spastyczności. Podkreślono również wagę wsparcia rodzinnego i zaangażowania rodziców w proces leczenia, w tym budowanie efektywnej komunikacji między dzieckiem a opiekunami. Zaznaczono, że holistyczne i skoordynowane podejście multidyscyplinarne jest kluczowe dla poprawy jakości życia i rozwoju motorycznego dzieci z MPD.

Abstract:
The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the various treatment methods for cerebral palsy (CP), emphasizing the importance of individualized
therapeutic approaches. Special attention is given to the need for early intervention, crucial for the development of brain neuroplasticity. It describes
a broad range of therapies, including rehabilitation, pharmacotherapy, the use of botulinum toxin, selective dorsal rhizotomy, and baclofen pump therapy, as effective methods for managing spasticity. The article also highlights the significance of family support and parental involvement in the treatment process, including building effective communication between the child and caregivers. It underscores that a holistic and coordinated multidisciplinary approach is essential for improving the quality of life and motor development of children with CP.
This paper is a continuation of the publication entitled Cerebral palsy – definition, clinical manifestation, methods and criteria for the diagnosis (Stand Med Pediatr 2023;20:421-429) and Cerebral palsy – co-morbidities (Stand Med Pediatr 2024;21:100-106).
